Never Have I Ever!

You might have played this game already, but here's how it'll work online!
› A character posts something that s/he has never, ever done. (You can and should do this as many times as you want.)
› The trick is to pick things that you haven't done, but other people have... and make them confess to embarrassing things, of course.
› When someone else says something that your character has done, they have to fess up! They can be forced to magically tell the truth if that's what they need!
› Theoretically, the person who has done the fewest things wins. (Although there's no good way to keep track of that.)

Anyway. What would it be like if the characters all got together for a reunion ten years later? In, say, a convention center type of scenario (since, good grief, there's a lot of characters) in which to mingle, have food, drinks, dancing, what-have-you?

And that is IC Secrets! This is something we used to do way back when on the LJ Sortinghat's crack community and I figured hey, why not bring it back? I'm shamelessly ganking the format for it, so here are the rules!

1. All secrets are to be IC.
2. All pictures are to be direct url. Use photobucket, tinypic, or something of the like.
( Good example: hxxp://i41.tinypic.com/imagefilenamehere.jpg )
3. It doesn't have to be pretty! It can be just plain text on a white background if you want.
4. Use your best judgment on picture/secret size.
5. You can submit as many secrets as you want. The more the merrier! Don't be shy!
6. Comments/Submissions don't have to be made anon-ly! You can use your own personal journal if you want. :| Just as long as we get them.
7. HAVE FUN.

It's what it says on the tin, people. Now. Here are the rules of ~~Fight Club~~ the fic meme:

1. Post a prompt, anon or not.

2. For ease of posting, make sure to at least include these three pieces of info when putting up your request, in this handy little text area:

Let's give two examples, one horrifying and one not:

Characters: Sybille/Constance
Rating: HIDE THE BITTIES' EYES (meaning R or above)
Prompt: OH NO SYBILLE DIDN'T INSULT CONSTANCE'S HAIR.

Characters: All the first-years!
Rating: G
Prompt: the cute discussions that take place while waiting to be sorted.

3. Requests can be filled as fic, threaded out by the actual characters if they're brave enough (or crazy enough), or filled with artwork! And nobody is too 'untalented' enough not to fill a request; if you have an idea, go ahead and post it up! It's all anon anyway!

So, my fellow Hatters, I have noticed that there is a lot of love in this game. And, you know, the HMD is a good place to compliment people on specific character handlings, but sometimes you just need to ramble on about how someone is awesome. SO HERE'S THE DEAL:

Comment with your characters and their canons, then...
Tag other people with love. Actually...
Tag EVERYONE with love. As many people as you can manage, seriously. I can't imagine that many cases where anyone can't think of at least one nice thing to say about a character or just their player!
Guys, don't take the above as orders. Not everyone likes/knows everyone else, come on. (An irl friend was like HOW DO YOU COMPLIMENT EVERYONE so I thought I should clarify.)

THE AGE UP/DOWN MEME

Because what the hell we're gonna have fun and do what we want. Something has happened. And somehow your character is now a different age!

There are two main options:

Age down - who likes bitties? We like bitties! Your character is now a child, or at least a few years younger. This can be just a physical or a physical & mental change, or however else you like it.
Age up - Ever feel like a year or seven just flew by? Well? It kind of did. This one is more freeform - They can have theoretical memories in the Tower if you want, or it just be a physical change, or anything else you can think of.

As for those replying, feel free to go completely wild - have your character also be affected or not affected or affected in the opposite direction or whatever else you can think of.

And of course, have fun! THAT'S WHAT MEMES ARE FOR.

A’ight, Hatters. I know that a lot of us like shipping. And a lot of us play ships in the game, but some of us don’t! Some of us want to explore a lot of different ships but don’t want to screw with any that already exist in game canon or anything like that.

So we’re having a shipping/date meme. Based off of

bakerstreet and other meme comes, you input numbers into the Random Number Generator. The numbers you get correspond to different scenarios. With this particular meme there are two sets to choose from, but if you see a scenario or combination of scenarios you have a burning need to play out, you can just skip the RNG altogether.

For those who haven’t played on memes before, comment here with a blank comment (or simply state what you’re open to or something lame and dorky or whatever). Because we’re all in game together, putting your character’s name in the subject isn’t necessary. Just make sure to put the scenario numbers in the subject when you reply to others!

How it Works:

1. Post with your character and how they've changed in ten years time. What's happened to them? Did they marry and have kids? Did they become an Auror? Did they die? Did they come back to Hogwarts to teach? The possibilities are endless!

HARD MODE: Good End and Bad End. Post with your characters Good End and Bad End.

2. Others reply to your characters and just roll with it. Are you still friends? Have you become enemies? (If you're going with Good and Bad End, be sure to specify which one you're playing out.)

3. HAVE FUN WITH IT.
