Karkat's a little disappointed in himself for taking so long to realize that Gamzee's probably going to be the bestest best friend he could ever ask for. BFF crush aside, he's put up with Gam since he didn't even know how to understand him do there's something to be said about perseverence on Gamzee's part. Gamzee is one of the people he'd do anything for, even though he mightn't say it out loud. If you insult him you'd better be prepared for Karkat's fist in your face. Gamzee's arms are kind of a security blanket for him too. He feels safer in them for some strange reason, another thing he probably won't ever mention, but he's sure that if he asked he'd get all the hugs he wants.

Gamzee is so open for hugs anytime, day or night. I imagine Karkat could wander in at 3am, climb into Gamzee's bed, and mostly he'd just get snuggles for it. XD

somehow I imagined this happened a lot during the time Gamzee was over in the summer holidays. Karkat would just crawl out of his own bed and across the floor to Gamzee's. He wouldn't admit it but he likes snuggles ;w;
